Origin Story
PREPP was born during a season of transition. At the end of 2024, Corey began exploring the idea of building a business alongside family and enlisted longtime friend Kent Adams to help search for opportunities to buy or start. While that original venture took shape, it ignited Corey’s entrepreneurial drive after nearly 30 years in homebuilding and ultimately led to the decision to step away from his role leading a local homebuilding company to pursue something new.
The idea for PREPP came unexpectedly while walking a home for a friend to discuss window replacements and general updates. As the conversation shifted to whether the home would become a rental or go on the market, a simple list of “things to do before listing” began to form — and with it, the realization that this overwhelming pre-listing phase was a problem Corey had seen countless times before. After decades of helping buyers prepare their homes to sell and hearing agents talk about the chaos of coordinating repairs, paint, cleaning, and multiple contractors, the path became clear: create a single, trusted solution that makes getting a home ready to sell simpler, calmer, and far less stressful. PREPP became that solution.

Corey Dean
Co-Founder
Corey Dean brings nearly three decades of hands-on construction and project leadership experience to PREPP. Over the course of his career, Corey has worked in virtually every phase of residential building — from field management and project coordination to serving as president of a local home builder responsible for delivering more than 3,000 homes.
This depth of experience allows Corey to quickly identify practical solutions, anticipate challenges, and guide preparation decisions that balance impact, timeline, and cost. His approach focuses on clear communication, thoughtful prioritization, and steady execution that keeps projects moving without overwhelming sellers or disrupting listing momentum.
Corey co-founded PREPP to create a more supportive and coordinated preparation experience for both agents and homeowners. His focus is on helping properties reach the market with confidence through preparation that is intentional, realistic, and aligned with the goals of the sale.
Kent Adams
Co-Founder
Kent Adams brings more than 35 years of sales leadership and real estate experience to PREPP. A licensed real estate salesperson since 2007, Kent has been directly involved in over 100 residential property flips, giving him first hand insight into what truly drives value when preparing a home for market.
Throughout his career, Kent has founded and scaled multiple businesses and franchise concepts, developing a deep understanding of operations, systems, and growth strategy. His entrepreneurial background, combined with decades of hands-on real estate experience, uniquely positions him to bridge the gap between contractors, investors, agents, and homeowners.
Kent co-founded PREPP to simplify the listing preparation process and eliminate the stress and guesswork sellers often face. His vision is to create a nationally recognized presale preparation platform that helps homes enter the market strategically, efficiently, and without unnecessary renovation.
